Pros: Controls; perfect for multiplayer; many new features; new netcode reduces ping; some new maps rock.
Cons: Some new maps are hard to get used to; feels a little rushed.
The Bottom Line: Graphics? I could play this in 16 color VGA and still have fun. The price is great so buy it and enjoy it. Perfect for playing multiplayer games online.

General/Summary:
Warning! Don't buy Counterstrike unless you are certain to be locked up home for a long time! Counterstrike is an extremely addictive shooter-strategy game. You basically don't have a life anymore when you first play this, because you become hopelessly addicted! Counterstrike is actually the best online game I have ever played. The realism and the need for teamwork is what makes the game so good and addictive. You can easily kill a person and a person can easily kill you, which is why teamwork is needed badly when you play. This is what makes the game so addictive. Regular shooter games don't have that, which is why Counterstrike dominates all. When playing offline, play original Half-Life in search of the end of the story. When your online, do not play anything else except Counterstrike, because it is just that addictive.
Gameplay:
Gameplay is excellent in this game. Since you can die much easier in Counterstrike than normal shooter games, it makes gameplay so realistic and good. There are also a countless number of weapons. Favorite has to be shotgun, for its large damage and damage area. All the weapons have equal but different ways in killing a person within just seconds. The maps you play on are also good. The places all seem to be real-life terrorist situation areas. Favorite map is Dust, which should be all Counterstrike players favorite. Buying weapons are also good. If your in the army, you don't find and pickup weapons anywhere. You buy and pack yourself the weapons you will use, unless you spawn a dead guy's gun. The realistic gameplay in Counterstrike is what makes it the best game in the world.
Graphics:
Graphics are great too. Valve made Counterstrike run on mostly of Half-Life's graphics, not that there is anything wrong with that. The levels seem flawless and look like present day terrorist situation areas. The guns look so damn real. The explosions are also good too. The best design is the sleek design of the Magnum Sniper Rifle. Graphics in Counterstrike are simply kickass and flawless, just like in Half-Life. Realistic gameplay with realistic atmosphere equals one damn good game.
Sound:
Ok, now there is realistic gameplay, realistic graphics, and realistic sound in Counterstrike. Sound has never been better. Weapon shots sound so real. The silenced ones are actually silent, and sniper rifles have that big BAM! when you take a shot. Machine gun shots actually sound like realistic machine gun shots, not like shooting pellets in other shooter games. Commands you can say are also realistic. You actually sound like a realistic Counter-Terrorist commanding your CTs on what to do. "Fire in the hole!, Stick together team, Hostage has been rescued, the bomb has been planted." Hehe. What a game. Realistic gameplay, realistic graphics, and realistic sound. And what do you get? Counterstrike, the best and most addictive game ever.
