Great advice!!! (Reply to this comment)

I am actually starting my third month of treatment on Amnesteem (the generic form of Accutane) and the only side effects I've experienced so far is some dry, peeling lips, dry eyes, and some sun sensitivity.

But if it finally results in clearer skin (I've been having cystic acne around my jawline while the rest of my face stays mostly pimple free), then the whole process will be worth it!!

I've already noticed my skin is ALOT less oily and my pores aren't quite as large, either. At age 34, you'd think I'd not have to continue to deal with "teenage type" skin, but I've done it for a good 20 years now!! If only I'd went to the dermatologist sooner....

Good luck!!

How about bumps all over your body? (Reply to this comment)

Hey, thanks for the review. I finished taking Accutane earlier this year and am very happy! I'm sure you will be pleased with the results.

The first 2 months of taking it, I broke out all over my body with these tiny flesh-colored bumps that would itch like you wouldn't believe. Happily, by the third month they went away.

Again, thank you for a well-written review!
