The Bottom Line .......
I would imagine some of you are sort of wondering where my Eps account disappeared to for 10 days, and as if by magic reappeared. Well, you see, what happened was this. I was lying in bed one night, and this tall, willowy creature with an oval head and big, dark eyes wearing no clothes appeared and took me aboard its spaceship....
Wait, that was Christopher Walken...
Seriously.. after having a strange delayed grief ridden reaction to the death of someone very close (grief will come and bite you in the ärse if you don't deal with it properly at the time, I've now realised) I just had this need to disappear, vanish into thin air if you will, which included deleting my Eps and internet accounts.
After a few days AWOL, and with the help of friends (including some of you guys on here) I finally lifted myself out of this weird pit of, not really depression, just, a vague sense of nothingness. I made a lot of people worry, and have come to realise that, often when you think you're alone in your plight, you're really not. And there are people out there who care more for you than you may realise.
Anyway, those lovely people over at Eps Community Care, whom I now owe a debt of gratitude, kindly restored my account for me, so a big thank you to them, specifically Christal. I've spent the past couple of days catching up on reading reviews that I've missed, and basically trying to get back into the swing of things. I'll start writing reviews again shortly. One thing is certain, even though I was only gone from here for 10 days, I really did miss it, and the friends I've made here. Needless to say, I don't plan on disappearing like that again.
I want to keep this short, but on a final note, I'd like to say a huge thanks to all those people who have emailed me, and those at E-F-F, and those that have been in touch one way or another with well wishes and so forth, and I'm sorry for any worry, and it really does mean a lot to me. And to Chris, Sue, Mike, Søren, Caroline, Andy and Anders, an extended thanks for everything you guys did. It's great to be back.
Ok, it's 8.10am and I have a bizarre craving for spaghetti and meatballs, which I think I'll go and make.. I hope I'm not pregnant.....
PS. I've had almost 2 weeks off work, and spent the past few days playing "Dynasty Warriors 4" on the X-Box (yes, I've spent my free time so productively) .. does anyone know how the hell to kill Lu Bu?! LOL
