| Lisa_J's Full Review: Verizon Mobile Phone Service in Seattle/Tacoma/Eve... |
My husband and I have experienced multitudes of interaction with various customer service representatives from Verizon Wireless ~ Everett/Seattle Region. In every instance the person helping us has exceeded our expectation for exceptional customer service! Whether communicating in person, via phone (wireless and/or conventional), or via Internet, the response time is speedy, the help received beneficial, and – as mentioned – put forth with respect for our patronage.
General Overview
Considering that Verizon provides the best packages and pricing for Boeing employees, we are thankful the service provided meets our wireless needs. Currently, we are utilizing two Nokia 5185 cellular phones. Our previous phones included a Qualcom and a Motorolla.
The initial transaction occurred several years ago at a mall kiosk. While the phone utilized, and the plan signed for has changed… One factor remains – we are two pleased customers, and highly recommend Verizon Wireless ~ Everett/Seattle Region for your Pacific Northwest wireless needs!
The second transaction involved an upgrade to a digital plan, and a Qualcomm 2760 phone purchase. The on phone representative was most helpful in guiding the phone purchase process. He was courteous, and carefully helped us arrive at a phone choice. I really appreciate the factor that this gentleman catered to me as a customer, and seemed completely available with knowledge and patience. Never did I feel rushed or pressured. Truly an attribute indicative of courtesy and superior customer service.
Last February, my husband and I came to realize that time had arrived for us to sport individual cellular phones. Not certain whether to share a plan or what exact phone purchase to make, we went into the Everett show floor. Retail sales associate Glenn Allen kindly guided us through the decision process. He discussed the many plan options. Asked questions pertaining to peak versus off peak call usage. Further, he aided us with assessing the percentage of calls that would be family versus outgoing/incoming. After exhibiting much wisdom, patience, and so forth – he recommended we obtain two individual Boeing 767 calling plans.
The Plan
The Boeing 767 (dig 800) plan allows for 350 anytime minutes and 450 weekend minutes. It includes: call waiting, three way calling, call forwarding, caller ID, message delivery, wide area calling, voice mail with paging, and mobile messenger base. The monthly charge is $29.95. Excessive minutes used are billed at twenty-cents. Each Boeing employee is allowed four of these accounts. You may choose unified billing or separate invoicing.
The deal of the day was a Nokia 5185i. For $29. I was able to acquire this phone, a designer cedar green metallic faceplate, and establish an additional account (1600 minutes). Oh, but wait it gets even better! This affordable deal included an additional Nokia 5185i cellular for free. Yes, $0.00
Decision made! Hubby and I would have matching Nokia’s! Simplistic, yet ready to please, this phone has many features making it an excellent bargain considering the affordability. For specific phone information please read:

The Phone
Glenn programmed the phones through the set-up process, and carried forth to aid us with understanding of phone functions and personalized set-up procedures. I – again – was impressed with the exceptional customer service provided. Further, he told us to call him anytime for assistance or to drop by.
Customer Service
The occasion has transpired that I questioned particular charges on our monthly invoice. The on hold time for a representative has varied from 1 minute to 5 minutes. The representatives are always patient, courteous, and helpful. Generally the questioned call is voided. One situation was merely a misunderstanding on my part with regard to weekend -versus peak-versus off-peak. An impressive attribute was the representative’s tactful way of explaining the billing process, and her genuine concern that I understood. I have departed each communication with a sense of being helped and an understanding.
We have utilized the 411 system that puts us through to a Verizon employee for number seeking benefit. This service cost .75 per occurrence and puts you directly through to the number requested, as well as provides the number for you.
Reception
Generally speaking, we are pleased with the reception received while utilizing Verizon Wireless ~ Everett/Seattle/Tacoma Region. The comparison I will provide for you is the fact that we maintained call possibility in a remote area where two of my friend’s service providers wouldn’t. We have experienced an occasional dropped call, which seems to be characteristic of the locale versus the service provider. Honestly, we render no complaints in this area.
Final Recommendation
Being that we are only familiar with the Verizon Wireless ~ Everett/Seattle/Tacoma Region, I feel it fair to say that I highly recommend them for this region. My hope is that the customer service provided here is mirrored elsewhere by them!
