BlueMountain.com has good cards, and it all works.
However, they try to hold you hostage as a subscriber, using these techniques.
1) There is NO WAY TO CANCEL your account mentioned on the web site. If you go into help, and search enough, you will find a phone number that you can call, and wait on hold, and request to cancel. You will spend some time being talked out of cancelling.
2) They automatically rebill your credit card on a regular basis. There is no way to opt out of this or to confirm that you want your subscription to continue. If you no longer want to be a member, and never use the service any more, you will still be charged all the time, and it is difficult to make them stop doing this.
3) There are lots of upsells on the site. If you use various features, you will incur additional fees ($14.99 per year forever for create and print, $13.99 per year forever for ecards, etc.
4) The charges occur at different times of year so that the total amount is not billed at once. This makes it difficult to tell how much they are charging you per year for all the upsells you have ever agreed to. I accidentally agreed to upsells because I thought I was renewing previous upsells. Wrong - they were additive.
5) The site has no summary page listing your various upsells and how much you pay for them or how frequently. There is no way to even find out on the web site.
BlueMountain.com's billing and subscription process is so egregious, that I encourage all card senders to seek an ethical alternative.
