Really bad return experience

Shopping on LampsPlus.com is a pretty easy experience. There is a good selection and my lamps were shipped quickly. Returns, on the other hand, are a HUGE hassle. The website states that items are returnable at their stores. Because I wanted to save on return shipping, I decided to use that option with my return. The process at my local store was a long ordeal. Not one person knew what they were doing. After a half hour or so, the head store manager finally came along and said that she know how to process a Bill Me Later account, internet return. She filled out the appropriate papers (so we thought) and, whew, we were finally out of there. A month later I find out from the Bill Me Later folks that the lamps are still on my bill.
It has now been nearly two weeks and the lamps are still on my bill. I have spoken with the store manager to no avail. I have received two phone calls from people at LampsPlus.com. The first one said, "The person who handles this is out of the office. She'll call when she gets in." About a week later, that person called to say she was "looking into it." and would call me in a couple of days. Four days later and I still have not heard from her. In the meantime, the bill is due in three days and I have to pay it even though I don't have the lamps.
Hopefully, this review WILL be helpful to someone in my situation. Be sure you don't need to return anything and don't use the Bill Me Later option.
