The Bottom Line Learn from this, once you lose them....they are gone. It takes work, work that few are willing to invest. The end result is so sad & lasting.

It's a pickup with a trailer
that comes to take my dreams
away.
Stuff this and that
here and there
it's all in
latch the door.
We need to go now
and with a hug it's
goodbye dear.
I walk through empty rooms
trash strewn here and there
recognized scents are fading
the silence is --
deafening.
Light fades and night closes in
emptiness --
a cell --
of nothing.
Fathers Day is near
and nothing --
I will hear.
Two it takes to make it
only one --
to dissolve it.
"Till Death Do Us Part" --
we had said --
and yet --
we parted.
"I" have died twice
this way --
the pain --
NEVER --
goes away.
