I am always looking for good deals on the internet. I love to shop this way, as it provides much convenience for a single mom who works full time.
Overstock.com has provided me with many options as far as searching for the perfect gift. They have a wide variety of categories to search from. The categories are as follows: Furniture, Home, Bedding, Clothing, Jewelry, Watches, Electronics, Sports, Books etc. and Worldstock (which is handcrafted items). Among these categories, there are several subcategories to choose from, which makes it very easy to narrow your search results.
If you are one to just type and search, their main page has a bar at the top to do just that (which is what I typically end up doing).
I have also noticed that they do auctioning. That I have yet to explore, but plan on doing so in the near future and will update my review once this happens.
As I have been searching for specific items, I have noticed that they show you what the list price is for the item and then what they are selling it for. You can figure out how much of a good deal you are making pretty easily!
Definitely a plus is the 2.95 shipping (Standard Shipping)every day!! It doesn't matter how much or how little you purchase. It is 2.95 all the time!! I love this. They also offer expedited shipping of Next Day, 2 Day and 3 Day on most of their items. Of course, there are extra fees involved for these shipping services based on weight, etc.
As far as payment goes, they accept Visa, Discover, MasterCard, American Express and the Bill Me Later option.
My experience has been very pleasant with Overstock.com. I have ordered many dvds for a bargain! I have bought rings and clothing as well. Everything so far has arrived in perfect condition and rarely takes long to make its way to my front door! The ordering process doesn't take long and I feel that the website is very easy to navigate.
I strongly recommend Overstock.com to anyone!! More than not, you will end up with a good price!!!
