I recently purchased a Nikon D80 complete with two lenses on this site for an awesome deal: $739.99. I got a phone call and message (not e-mail) saying that I should call back to confirm the order. When I did, I had the same fishy "20 minute battery" speech, saying that that was the only battery that it came with. I think because I made my voice sound suspicious, he cut me a deal with the two-hour battery and UV filter for $999.99. I thought I was getting scammed, but I still went with it because it was the best deal for the lenses and body. The sales rep was very nice, so I placed the order, but I never got a tracking number that was supposed to be e-mailed to me promptly. As a result, and after calling them several times and wasting several minutes (I had to wait up to 15 minutes on one call) they repetitively told me that I would be receiving the package 5-7 business days after the shipping date. Apparently THIS COMPANY DOES NOT REQUIRE SIGNATURES UPON DELIVERY. I was shocked to find out that, since I could not track it, they had delivered it on a day that I was not home and LEFT IT ON MY DOORSTEP, but it wasn't there when i got home. I could not believe it, and the poor UPS people were horrified to find out that such a valuable item did not require this. Miraculously, my camera was retrieved, no thanks to preferred photo, although they had offered a shipment replacement for free. However, UPS would have had to pay for it anyway.
