The NASCAR.com website is more than just the Super Store online shop. It is a great place to get up to the minute details on races, schedules, read blogs and see photos. There's also some information on NASCAR Angles, TrackPass and spots for members to upload their photos and videos. The site is easy to navigate and looks great but the heavy graphics may cause your browser to time out if you are running on a slow connection. I have never had any problems getting around the site but it can be hard to find items because of the way some things are categorized. It took me a while to find some of the baby items that I wanted to order and after hitting about ten pages I opted to just use the search function to find what I was looking for.

One of the easiest ways to search the site is by driver name but that isn't really a great option if you aren't shopping for something that is driver specific. I have used this section of the site a handful of times when I needed to find something under a certain name and it was really nice to be able to see all the specific products at once. Everything I have come across at the site is shown in color and with a good bit of detail and most of the images can be enlarged to see the detail of them. Almost everything at the site comes with a 30 day return policy too, there are exceptions like close out items or personalized items. I've never had to make a return but the instructions at the site and on the back of the packing slip are easy to understand and follow. If you are new to the site you can sign up for their newsletter and receive a discount off your first online purchase.
The NASCAR.com online store also offers you a way to earn points on your purchases at the website. The RacePoints program is free to join and will earn points that you can save up to use on products and events, you can even redeem them for race tickets but you will have to look through their database to see if there are any available for the dates and areas that suit your schedule. When I placed my first order at the site I signed up for this program and didn't really expect the points to add up quickly, I am now closing in on cashing them out on a couple of baseballs caps that I have had my eye on. The more you spend at the site, the more points you earn. Items that are discounted or are on sale usually don't earn you points. Just look for the RacePoints logo on a merchandise page to see how many you will earn for that item. Points are added to your account once your order has shipped and so far all the points I have earned have been accurately credited to my account.
One of the coolest things I ordered was a personalized floor mat; the fifty dollar price tag seemed a bit steep but it was pretty big and came with the option to have any name you wish added to it. I had this shipped directly to the persons house and hoped that they didn't botch the name. The next time we went for a NASCAR party this was right outside the front door and they were really impressed with the size and the design of it. The gift card that was supposed to be included with it must have been forgotten because they had no idea who sent it to them. For a week straight she assumed he ordered it and he assumed she ordered it, then she asked him how much it was and they started scratching their heads. We all had a good laugh about it but if you are going to have gifts or personalized items sent to someone, drop them a subtle hint that you are doing so.
If you think that the kids are going to get left out of the fun, think again. I ordered the uber cool NASCAR Ten Ounce Toddler Cups from the site as well as puzzles and even pacifiers. I was really shocked at the prices on the pacifiers too, most of them were in the five dollar price range and they looked great. Of course I was a little worried that these were more of a novelty item than something that would be completely safe for babies to use but we tested a few of them out and they are incredibly strong. I was a bit hesitant about ordering a kids sleeper from the site because I wasn't sure if it would be worth the twenty dollars or not but when the order arrived I checked it out and it was really, really nice. A soft feel to it and something that you could put on a baby in almost any season to keep them warm and let them sport their favorite driver's number.
The site offers you so many officially licensed NASCAR items that you could literally spend hours poking around the site. The dale Jr. Fleece pull over and sweatshirts were recently on sale and I ordered a few of them for friends that are Dale Jr. fans. I wasn't expecting them to look as nice as they did and when I tried one of them on I had to go back to the site and order a couple for myself. Getting something of this quality for under twenty dollars is hard to do with any brand but considering it is a NASCAR item, that makes it an even sweeter deal. There are things for men, women and children at the site and they offer clothing in a wide assortment of sizes. So far I have been extremely impressed with everything that I have ordered and received and will keep shopping at the site for things that I can't find locally as well as the items that are on sale or clearance.
You can pay for your order using the usual credit cards like Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover. You can also pay using PayPal if you want but I have never elected to do so. If you are paying with a debit or bank card the items could be charged as soon as you place the order to ensure that funds are available, if you use a regular credit card your items won't be charged until it is ready to ship out. They do not accept COD orders or accept checks or money orders. You can also opt to pay for your order with an online gift certificate and any funds on the gift certificate code that aren’t used up on the order will be held in your account. Shipping fees are based on the item, weight or where it is being shipped; they do ship overseas but you will have to check the site to see what the exact cost will be. I have always elected to go the cheapest route for delivery of items and have never had to wait for than seven working days to receive things. I did have one item that was back ordered and I got an email letting me know that it would ship out separately at no additional charge.
The Bottom Line
When I can’t find something locally and it has anything to do with NASCAR I know that the Super Store will have it. I love the fact that it is part of the official NASCAR site and that they stand behind their products 100%. If you are willing to spend the time looking around the site and checking out what they have to offer you can find some great deals on items from your favorite drivers or as a gift for that certain race day fanatic in your life. I have been extremely impressed with the delivery and packaging of items as well as the representation of the goods at the site. If you order an XXL sized sweatshirt you aren’t going to get something that looks like it would fit a kid. If you are a NASCAR fan, this is the ultimate website for you!
