This is my favorite On-Line shopping sight and I am excited to write about it. Bear with my undying enthusiasm.
The first most important reason I love Lands End is that I am a borderline tall (my husband would say I am just "borderline", but that is another Epinion All together!). I am 5'7 1/2". This makes a decent length difficult to find. I don't want my pants at my ankle (I don't care what the latest craze is) and I don't want them covering my shoes so that I trip every time I take a step. Regular catalog and on-line stores offer an approximate 30-31" length. At Land's End you can find Tall sizes to 33 - 34" or longer AND many of the items you can special order in your length for no extra charge (is this heaven or what?).
Another reason I love Lands End is because their clothes are top quality. They look good, feel good, wear good and clean good (whether wash or dry clean - they don;t have much dry clean in the casual clothes which I order the most, but I also love their dressy stuff!).
Another reason I love them is their special "Build Your Model" set-up. You pick everything (from certain choices), including approx, height, shoulder and hip width, even basic hairstyle. You even get to name her! Then you select different articles of clothing (or preselected outfits - which are great for the fashion challenged - and we shall remain nameless!). This way you get an idea if you are going to like something that you think you love, but you are not sure exactly what it will look like on. You can turn her around for all different views and try on all the colors available in that item. It is great!!
They also get you order on time (I have NEVER had a problem), they offer advise or information if you have questions or are not sure about something and their shipping is reasonable. I know they also have a new Personal Shopper program, but I am pretty set in my ways about what I like and haven't tried it yet - I am sure it is wonderful.
Why go to the store when you can buy for the whole family and get quality from your computer window!!
