When I bought a 32" LCD TV from an ebay seller in Toronto, Canada I received an offer from Square Trade to buy the warranty for the item. First of all I was not sure whether I would get the service when required as Square Trade is an U.S. based company, secondly I had bad experience with extended warranties I bought through two major electronic retailers. But looking at the cost I decided to buy the warranty. I am glad I took the right decision. After 7 months the TV stopped working (no power). I called Square Trade customer service to know the claim procedure. Believe me the journey from that point was easy and smooth. I was advised and kept informed at all stages of the claim process as how to ship the item to an authorized service agent in U.S. (full shipping cost and all relevant US custom formalities were taken care of ), when item was received, inspected by the technician, their findings, the decision (repair or full refund) and finally when money would be transferred to my account etc. AND I received my refund within 24 hours. I did not expect that a claim process would be resolved in such a higher level of professionalism. Customer service is by far better than any competitors and even many major manufacturers. I can easily recommend Square Trade Warranty to friends without any hesitation.
