Pros: Inexpensive and easy to install.

Cons: Software/Drivers on CD don't allow camera to work properly.

The Bottom Line: Inexpensive and easy to install. Works great after software upgrade from IBM website...

I decided to by a webcam after seeing a friend of mine use his while chatting on Yahoo Instant Messenger. I thought it was the coolest thing. So I decided to buy a webcam but didn't want to pay too much. I found the IBM PC Camera on sale for $20.

When I installed the software that came with the camera, the picture was choppy when viewed locally. I figured, for $20 (on sale) that this was how it was supposed to work. I WAS WRONG!! I went to

and downloaded the latest software version for winME and now my camera runs smooth as silk...

not bad at all for $20
