A sleazy clerk and a sleazy company ripped me off while providing poor service

This is the worst car rental experience I've had in 35 years. When I got to the Dollar desk only one person was attending at 9:45 a.m. at the airport in San Francisco. There were nine persons in front of me. A second clerk took came to assist, intermittently, but each transaction seemed to create a big discussion and I stood in line for 55 minutes before I was attended. By the time I got taken care of I was going to be late for a meeting, and there were 7 people behind me, so I was feeling rushed. I clearly stated I did NOT want any optional insurance, and the clerk had me initial in a dozen places or so. One of my "options," rattled off quickly, was a "Loss Damage Waiver Suppliability." I said I did NOT want to pay for additional insurance and the clerk indicated for me to initial. I thought I was rejecting coverage, but actually was signing for it. This is a scam operation, with a sleazy clerk and a sleazy company collaborating to cheat me out of $43.98, in addition to providing poor service. I will never use Dollar Rent A Car again, and, after reading other similar complaints, I would strongly advise others to stay away from this company.
