A good friend of mine got me started using Mary Kay products a couple of years ago. Though I am not a huge fan of Mary Kay overall there are a few products I feel that they hit a home run on. The Satin Lips Lip Mask is one of those times that I never would have considered as a norm, but my friend raved about it and yup its a keeper.
Mary Kay Satin Lips Lip Mask comes in a .3 oz. light pink tube with pink lid. This runs $5.95 I do believe which may sound like a lot, but a little is all that is needed.
To use just squeeze out a tiny amount and rub over your lips. You will feel tiny sand like granules as you use it. This is thick so you do not have to worry about it running off of your lips. Leave it on 1-2 minutes and rinse off.
I noticed a difference after the first time I used this. My lips felt softer and did not feel as dry and flaky as they do in the Fall and Winter months usually. Mary Kay makes a lip balm that you use after the mask which I have also used. However I have also used other lip balms with a good amount of luck after using the Mary Kay Lip Mask. Where I have really noticed the difference is when I wear lipstick. My lipstick stays on better and for longer.My lips do not have the lines that they do as much when they are dry and flaky for lipstick to get stuck in and look gross. My lips look and stay moist and look and feel better. I use this two to three times a week in the Fall and Winter months and a tube will last me a good five or six months.
