Despite an other company's mortgage broker telling me that Quicken was the joke of the industry, I had an excellent experience. It all went pretty much as my loan guy said it would, with the exception that the Notary who came to my house to get our signatures did not deliver my cash out check. I had to wait the 3 days during which I could have backed out of the deal before the money was wired into my checking account. My loan guy told me what documentation would be needed and I was able to upload all these documents to their internet site. There were some documents to fill out and sign on the internet which was very easy and convenient. They set me up with a local appraiser who called me and set up an appointment to come to the house and do his appraisal. He was very professional and returned a very good market value appraisal in line with what the loan guy had estimated over the phone. After that, there was a short time to get the appraisal to Quicken Loans and for them to prepare the paperwork which was then brought out to our house by a Notary Public who went through the documents one by one and witnessed our signatures on all of them that required a signature.
