A Couple of Short Announcements
Oct 24 '06
The Bottom Line The bottom line is yet to come.
Just a couple of things - announcements - for any who might be interested.
First I apologize for being "late to rate." My computer has been acting up, and works well only on occasion. The problem is through the Charter box, which they can repair, but we aren't having it done. The reason for that is because Judith and I are breaking up housekeeping.
The house here in Knoxville that we purchased is getting too expensive to maintain, and so we have decided to sell it. Judith has been caring for me for a long time now, and she deserves a chance to get on with promoting her own career. She is so talented and bright that she deserves a chance to live her own life. Her art work and photography is outstanding, and that is not just my opinion. All she needs is a chance. I love her very much, and appreciate all she has done for me. I suspect we shall still see a lot of each other. She has rented a nice apartment, and she will not "forget" me, nor will I ever "forget" her. I feel that when anyone is gifted with as much talent as Jude has, they owe it to fate to use those talents for the good of humanity. She also has a kind and loving heart that makes me even more proud of her, for she has already done more for humanity than I have ever done in all of my long years.
As for me, my son and his wife have invited me to live with them. They have a nice big house, and while I hesitate to be another burden to anyone, I hope and pray that it will work out well for all of us. They are fine people, and I appreciate and love them very much,.
So I will be away from Epinions for about three weeks, but I will be thinking of all of you. I will be reading reviews (if the computer works) until the 28th of October, when, hopefully, we will be moving.
My second announcement is simply a request. My granddaughter, Katrina, has landed her first full time job in prime time television. She plays in "30 Rock" and is the office girl. The show is a sit-com that airs every Wednesday at 9:00 PM on NBC. It stars Tina Fay and Alec Baldwin, and I think it is funny. If you have a chance to see it, I hope you do. It has had some pretty good notices, and this will be the third episode.
Incidentally "30 Rock" stands for 30 Rockefeller Center, and the show is about a variety show produced by Tina Ray, and the things that occur behind the scenes.
This is Katie's first acting role on prime time, and I am proud of her. She just turned 18 in September.
Thank you, my friends, and "I'll be back".
