If you don't want the best then do not get Verizon

Cons: no totally unlimited plans
The Bottom Line: If you want the best Cellular service in the country (USA) then get Verizon.

What can I say I am a loyal Verizon Customer. I have been with them throughout many an incarnation for about 7 years. Yes we have had our up's and down's but I have to say that the company has steadily improved EVERYTHING about what they do over the years. And I look forward to even better service with more features in the near future.
I have a little story you need to hear about the service. Some time ago I called them up to find out how to get a new antenna for my Lg-510(which I love. It is a great phone). The CSR said he would Fex Ex me a new antenna at no charge (I have the replacement warrantee thing which I assumed just covered the phone). Anyway today (just a couple of days later) I received a box from Fed Ex containing a whole new phone, and a label to send back the old phone in the
same box.. I then called my local Verizon store to ask if there was a way to copy my old phone book to the new phone. They said no problem come on over. I went there they did it in about 2 minutes. Did I mention that while at the verizon store they offered to replace my old battery with a new one again at no charge? Well they did. The Verizon Cellular service has gotten better. My Use of the service has spanned a whole lot of territory throughout California Oregon Nevada Arizona and I haven't yet been Disappointed. At the moment there is only one spot through which I travel where I have no service in the LA area. Just south of overland and Jefferson, apparently nobody has service there.
Know your needs before attempting to deal with Verizon personal. Do some research first. I beleive it helps to know more than the sales person about the product they are selling. It makes it a lot easier extract what you want out of them.
One of the "new " cool features of the Verizon network is SMS messaging. I love this feature and use it a lot with my friends and wife. It seems faster that instant. It is a time saver and is fun to boot. Try it you might like it too.
I believe that Verizon is just around the corner from the next generation of Cellular phone service. This I hope will have more useful and fun features for all of us to use.
One could go around and around and arguing what is better about their cell service and their coverage and on and on.
The bottom line is that it really is a personal choice. I have chosen verizon and believe them to be the best for my needs. Maybe they will be the best for your needs too.
