Re: Explanation of my rating... (Reply to this comment)

I did recommend them because I am keeping their service. I think it would be unfair of me to not recommend a service that I am still using. When writing the review they do ask you pick how their calling plans and coverage are so I am adding into consideration with my recommendation and rating.
Thank you for pointing out that I did not add how their attitudes were when I called Customer Service. I will update that.

Nice job! (Reply to this comment)

I don't think customer service at any of the companies is good. If they are nice, they don't know what they are talking about. If they have knowledge, they are rude.
I am stuck with Verizon as I have my cellular number on my resumes, so can't risk changing my number.
Thanks for sharing your input on AT&T.

Explanation of my rating... (Reply to this comment)
by longislandlady
I thought that the review was very well written, but I was a bit confused about one thing, which lead me to feel that the review was only "Helpful".
This review is in the category of AT&T Customer Service. You wrote a bad review of their customer service, as well as giving it a rating of 1.0 for customer service. Yet, you answered "yes" to the question of would you recommend them. I'm assuming that you meant that you recommend getting an AT&T cell phone plan, but this category is for the customer service only, so the recommendation was a bit confusing. If you meant that even though you have had problems with CS, you still recommend them, I'd like to know why you would recommend them when you yourself have had so many problems.
Also, one last question I had that wasn't covered in the review. In general, how did CS treat you? Were they rude and uncaring, or were they nice and seem like they truly wanted to help you with your situation?
Sorry if I'm being too picky.
