The Compaq Presario is definately a computer of choice for your home office. It has a hard-drive that's almost impossible to fill, a great high-speed processor, and a fast cd-rom. On top of all the technical stuff, there's a handy little multiple cd holder built right into the front. Although it's not great for games, it will get you through anything you need for work or school. It comes with a great range of media components to play different forms of video, and is completely music compatible. The particular model I purchased also included a CD burner. This comes in handy nowadays.
