Sampleville.com
I received an email from a friend asking me to check this place out . She said she had ordered samples and so far hadn’t had any problems .
Well , I “visited” and signed up a short time back , and my experience was pleasant to say the least. The sign-up process was very smooth – standard questions , and the usual name , address, phone # bit – and I was on my way .
The first thing I noticed was that sampleville really did do most of the filling in – most samples I ordered required me to do little more than click “add to shopping cart”
Occassionally I ran into problems- I.E. one company wanted your comments on their product ( duh .. I hadn’t used their product , which was why I was ordering a sample – but they wouldn’t let me complete my order until I made a comment – so I decided I didn’t want a sample .)
Another company insisted I sign up for more information on other products from them and “other” companies . Again I decided I didn’t need a sample . ( I have enough junk email)
To date I have “ordered the following :

Sampleville warns that it can take 4-8 weeks to receive your sample. They also note that they do NOT mail out the samples out themselves , the sponsoring companies do. I am waiting on the samples – not being quite at the minimum limit ( 4 weeks) – but I will update this review as “My” samples come in – or not .
The rules :
1. You can only order a product sample once – and sampleville makes it easy for you to NOT break this rule by noting if you have already ordered a sample of a product before by placing a checkmark next to the product description .
2. Payment – per sampleville’s own words .” No... Never! We don't collect any billing information. All of these offers are completely and utterly free.”
When I queried sampleville about their use of my personal information – they responded ,” Sampleville.com does not sell the information you provide to us. What we must do is provide this information to the companies which send the free samples. (Otherwise how would they know what address to mail to? )In order to respect your privacy, you are not required to enter your phone number as part of your personal profile. If you choose to, we will provide this information to the makers of free samples who request it. Some products may require you to enter a phone number. This information goes only to the maker of the free sample. However, they are free to use it as they please, so you may consider not requesting this sample.
A pretty straight forward group .
At times the available sample selection seems limited – but it appears that they have around 30 items available on average .
Since it costs nothing , the ordering process is so streamlined , and samples are available – sampleville.com seems to be a keeper .
