Beware, they don't respect customer privacy (Reply to this comment)
by BJ_Nicholls
There are adult toy retailers who take customer privacy seriously, adameve.com does not. I agree with the comments here that "discrete" is a sham from this retailer.

Re: The real problem with those mailings... (Reply to this comment)
by dwine
That's the same problem I had with them. I TRIED to order from A&E once. They never had my item in stock, even though when I'd visit the website, the item would say 'in stock'. I got a 'free gift', but never my item, so I cancelled the order. I was still getting stuff from them in my email, so I cancelled any email notices from them.
But THEN I started getting the obnoxious mailers, with 'SEXUALLY ORIENTED MATERIAL INSIDE!' screaming across the front. WTF? Where is the 'discretion' in that?
They say they don't sell your information, but that's an out and out lie, because I NEVER got anything like that until I ordered from them. I had to call the customer service number on the mailers I was getting to ask to take my name/address off their mailing list. Hopefully that stops them.
I'll never go to them again, and don't know what I was thinking when I went to their site. There are plenty of other companies I've ordered from where that's never happened. I think I'll go back to them.

Yeah, all the catalogs and mailings with obnoxious colors and ADULT warnings do defeat the purpose. I've never figured that out.
Take care,

The real problem with those mailings... (Reply to this comment)
by owling
...is the "ADULT MATERIAL INSIDE" helpful note on the cover. It kinda makes all that discreet packaging pointless as it nicely informs all the people in the post office of your little habit.
Not so bad when I lived in Boston, but when we moved to rural New Hampshire you can bet we stopped placing orders and asked to be removed from their mailing list.
Sigh.

Thanks for your kind words, I appreciate them. I'm not sure about brave, a little loopy maybe.

No doubt about it, the mailings just won't stop coming. They even seem to follow me from apartment to apartment.
thanks,

Thanks. I figured I had to do something to make up for this being such a small group and my haphazard organization.

This was written well and in good taste (chocolate always works for me!).
The only problem I find with companies like this is that once you get on their mailing list it never ends.
Great job!

but my favorite part is your list of write off participants with their descriptions.
Well done.
