Pros: Nice looking and the 4WD works great
Cons: Gas milage and the front end went at 40K miles.
The Bottom Line: Don't waste your money!

I leased this 2001 Ford Exploder at Jerome Duncan Ford in Sterling Heights, MI. It was a nightmare from the start. The only positive thing I can say is that the truck waxed up nice and the 4WD worked great. I almost became a statistic when I descovered that both front ball joints went bad at about 38K miles, the shocks and struts as well, as did both rear callipers, and the left rotar. My front left tire (Wrangler) was down to the steel belts after about 32K miles, due to the ball joints. I couldn't see it due to it being on the inside right of the tire. The gas milage was TERRIBLE! I spent about $160.00 a month on average on gas. The interior was cramped and doesn't hold up to children. SOOO, the morale is if you see one of these damn things for sale, JUST KEEP ON DRIVING!
