Pros: Small, quite, not a space heater.
Cons: Limited capabilities.
The Bottom Line: If you are looking for a lightweight Linux box and are willing to experiment, then this is a great little box.

I picked mine up used on Ebay for under $50. There are 2 varieties of this box, Ethernet and Token Ring. Make sure you know what you are getting.
I selected this device because it is the only NetVista with a Pentium. This made loading Linux a simple matter. There is one IDE channel on the board. If a CompactFlash card is plugged in it becomes the Primary Master by default. If no CF is inserted then two drives can be connected via cable. There is a connector on the board that takes a Molex 43025-0400 that can be used for IDE power. I happened to obtain a mounting bracket for 1 hard drive in this machine. If you can fab metal you can make one, but don't expect to find one like I did because they don't exist ;). Anyway, the BIOS will only boot from HD0 and has no floppy support, so I had to install the OS on the HD using another machine and transfer the drive to this machine.
Currently it is serving as my SMB, LPD, DHCP and DNS server. It is also attached to my stereo and is my MP3 player.
The machine features:
Pentium 266/MMX
2 USB ports
1 parallel port
2 serial ports
S3 Trio video built-in
Crystal CS423X audio built-in
Ethernet(Intel EE PRO 100) or Token Ring built-in
2 PCI slots available (1 if you manage to mount HD internal)
2 DIMM slots for PC100 SDRAM up to 128MB each (256MB max)
Recommended:
Yes
