Pros: Inexpensive, high quality, reliable, fun to drive
Cons: None
The Bottom Line: If your budget will not allow a S40,000 suv, take a good look at the XL-7. I test drove an X-Terra, Ford Escape, and,Kia Sorrento, hands down Suzuki wins.

| gatorvrx's Full Review: 2002 Suzuki XL-7 2WD |
I purchased this XL-7 new, 3000 miles ago. As of this writing, the Suzuki XL-7 has been reliable, fun to drive, and fairly decent on gas mileage. Although this truck is new and has a ways to go to be "broken in" I am averaging 20 miles city, 22 miles highway with a manual transmission.
I traded in a "99" Isuzu Rodeo LS for this little suv. I have given up a little in the roominess department, and maybe a tad in the ride quality department, but this little Suzuki has some great features the bigger Rodeo didn't have, besides not having several little bugs that kept cropping up on the Rodeo.
I bought the base model for a couple of reasons, budget was one, but I like to upgrade my vehicles with rims, graphics, etc, etc. Spending only $20,590.00 for a new vehicle, I can add the aftermarket accessories as I see fit, and my budget allows.
If you looking for a great little suv that will be reliable I feel for years to come, take a hard look at an XL-7.
