I was both excited and nervous about my SeaEagle.com purchase. I was looking for an inflatable craft for kayak-like paddling for ease of transport (and comfort). The Sea Eagle website contained all the required technical details of their products as well as downloadable instructions for their products. However, outside of a Popular Mechanics review a few summers ago, I couldn't find much information on the company. I did a search on the Better Business Bureau website (searching on their phone number to find their company) and noted that there have been no unresolved complaints in the last 36 months.
I also found a few reviews of their products on paddling.net, but that's about it. However, the 380x met my criteria, and the price was less than the most similar competitor's model. I requested a free catalog on their website and was pleased to see samples of the boat material within. My boat was delivered to my door about a week later, as advertised. It came in several boxes and was well packed.
I had one problem with part of the shipment. The friendly Sea Eagle staff sent me a replacement and I did not even have to mail back the damaged item (it was a carry bag).
Overall, I was pleased with my SeaEagle.com experience. Please contact me if you purchased any of their products, as I am interested in learning about the other boats as well. (I will probably purchase from them again...when will Epinions add their products so we can share our experience?)
