| smileydaniel's Full Review: Nokia 5110 |
The Nokia 5110 cellphone to me is the most practical phone to own. Considering its small size which could slip into the side pockets of your pants, its basic yet useful and practical features, its durability, and its cost, the 5110 is for the person who seeks to find a phone that does what a phone is supposed to do.
With the ability to call, send SMS messages and phone book entries, wake you up when the alarm rings, and play games, the 5110 definitely fits into the price it tags along. I do not own one but my brother does and I play with it almost everyday and am totally familiar with it.
You could change the casing of the 5110 making it more fun to own because everytime my brother changes the casing, it seems like he owns a new phone. Also, there are the usual features any phone is supposed to have. Much more expensive phones may have features like the Infrared port, WAP connections, voice dialing which the 5110 may not have, but hey, who uses these options a lot? I have heard from many friends who have phones with these features that they do not use them a lot because they find it unpractical. Like hey, if you want to connect to the net, of course you'd rather find a cybercafe and surf using a computer, rather than your phone which may be much more expensive and slower. The 5110 is designed to provide you with the basic features a cellphone was designed to do at a very affordable price, making it very practical. So I do recommend it.
