Details: The AVP amplifier has processing power to handle sophisticated digital decoding like Dolby Digital and DTS, while simultaneously providing THX processing and flexible bass management. It includes eight channels of digital to analog conversion as standard equipment. The AVP supports independent main and remote/record paths, allowing different sources to be viewed in the main home theater. And in the remote zone the AVP is done in the analog domain, allowing the digital to analog converters to operate at their maximum resolution at all times for the best performance. The AVP uses a combination of multi-bit and single-bit digital to analog converters.
