Pros: Great plan, long distance and roaming charges included
Cons: price could be considered as high, but if you weight the benefit of the plan vs. the price, the benefit is much greater in my opinion

I have been a loyal AT&T customer now for over 2 years for my cell phone which is a Nokia 6160. I absolutely love the digital one rate plan. I can call anywhere in the continental United States or call from anywhere in continental United States and no additional charge incurred. With this cell phone plan you get a 1000 minutes. You can do what ever you want with this minutes and no long distance and roaming charges. For this reason 1000 minutes costs $119.99 which is well worth it you are going to use these minutes.
The downside is if you don't use alot of your minutes, you are still charged the same amount. If you go over the 1000 minutes, you are charged 25 cents a minute. This means if you go over by like 400 minutes, your bill will approximately double. There is other alternatives such as a 600 minute and 1400 minute plan to those you that 1000 minutes is not want you want.
If you are not going to be calling long distance or if you are not going to be using close to all your minutes, this is not the plan for you. You would be better off using a your normal phone for long distance and using a local per minute phone plan for your cell phone.
Personally, I have had a great experience with this phone plan because of my situation. I currently live on a college campus where long distance fees are very high. This plan allows me to call home at a lot less expense. In addition, my girlfriend currently goes to Syracuse university and I go to the George Washington University. This greatly helps me because I end up saving a great deal of money. If I speak the same minutes on my dorm phone, then I will pay nearly 3 times as much.
So if you are in a situation where you will be calling long distance and traveling, this is a great thing to have at a relatively modest price.
