| Jamiegt's Full Review: Nextel Mobile Phone Service in Raleigh/Durham/Chap... |
Nextel is a very popular service right now. I am a wireless consultant and Nextel is one of the companies I represent. They are rapidly growing in this market. Their service is very good as long as you are in their digital network. The phones are digital only, which means when you are not in their network you do not have service. The two way radio will not work either. As long as you are in their network there service is really great. They are the only company to provide digital service along with two way radio.
Nextel is a great way for people to communicate. There are so many applications for their service. An example, for people in construction who need to get in touch with contractors and the ability to communicate on the job site. There are so many uses for the two way radio. The National Business plan gives you unlimited two-way and 600 wireless minutes. There are usually promotions that go along with this plan.
The only real downfall to nextel is that they are digital only, no analog. And their service is a little expensive as compared with other local carriers. But for business uses its rapidly becoming the way business gets done.
