I have had my Toshiba DVD player for the past two weeks, and I absolutely love it. The sound and picture quality is amazing and I love all the convenes options. One feature which I found extremely useful is the display dimming feature. With this feature you can dim the display so if the DVD player is above your TV it will not be as distracting and
there will be no glare. In generally I think a DVD player is a great investment it is one of the latest new toys in technology. If you are looking for a new electronic or something for entertainment, I think you should go with a DVD.
