It sounds like the ACI line exhibits the same characteristic exhibited by the Magnaplanar line of speakers in that they are in some strange way 'too accurate'. That is, they have no particular 'sound' of their own but only show what the recording artists and audio engineers actually intended. Spica was famous for this too.
