Nokia 8260 - Awesome!

This is a follow-up to an epinion I wrote a week or so ago regarding the Mitsubishi T250 phone. I just traded that phone for a Nokia 8260. This is not a web phone, but unlike the T250, this phone is excellent.
This phone is very tiny, but it still feels solid and fits well in your hand. The keypad is small but also works just fine. Nokia has done well by sticking with their standard set of software for the phone, so using this phone is very similar to any other Nokia you may have had in the past. Battery life is excellent, as is the signal strength -- especially for a phone that has an internal antennae.
I often use this phone on calls lasting 45-60 minutes and do not experience discomfort or phone overheating (like the T250). AT&T's service is great with this phone. I never realized how good AT&T was until I used a Sprint phone (Samsung 8500) for a few days and then returned it, having more dropped calls in 3 days with Sprint then in 3 years with AT&T.
A couple of nice features on this phone that don't exist on the 6160/6162 include the vibrating alert and 2-way SMS messaging. Caller groups and downloadable ringers are also nice, but really don't matter much to me.
Right after I bought this phone, I noticed that VoiceStream has the 8290, which I thought would be the same as the 8260, but with a different transmitter in it. This is not correct. The 8290 is very different, and in fact is even smaller then the 8260...I'll write a review on that phone as well (FYI - not as favorable).
This is an excellent phone and the size and weight are just amazing. I highly recommend it.
