Pros: SLAMMING low end, resolute, clear and perfect- the best thing next to servo- Phase Alignment Cons: At this price, none whatsoever
Again, I'm getting on my soapbox and raving about Paradigm -- you can read about my current den system which includes a Denon 3801 receiver, Paradigm Monitor 7 fronts, CC-370 center and ADP-170 surround rears, wrapped up with a PDR-12 powered subwoofer....
Pros: Rich, powerful bass. Very nice build and finish. Good for HT and music. Cons: Slight hissing sound from the amp. Big and heavy.
Great Build and Finish
I had the PW-2200 in my home for almost a year and it had been a very enjoyable experience. The sub is heavy, about 65 lbs. and its construction is very solid. The wood grain finish is very nice and it sits along the...
Pros: Musical, lots of output, low extension, high quality, high value. Cons: Big and heavy.
First of all, a bit of background: I am currently employed in an electronics store that sells home theatre and hi-fi products. I have been an audio enthusiast for several years now and have pieced together a respectable home theatre. I am therefore no...
This sub is just unbelievable. It does an outstanding job with movies along music. It really brings out those explosions and intense moments in a movie. It has made me where I do not even go to the movies, cause when I get there it just makes me wish I...
Pros: Goes down to 18HZ(inaudible). Spend 4 times as much for slightly better quality. Cons: None!!! People who complain about its size don't need to be looking for Subwoofers, Period.
I have had my PW2200 for approx. 3 months now. For the price $800.00 U.S. I could not find anything close that matched it except for the B&w 12"; which I might add cost about 4 times has much with, not that much difference in sound. When I first got ...
Kicking Bass, no comparison by farley1022 ,May 02 '08
Pros: Accuracy is perfect on movies and on music, hard to do with a sub. Cons: None whatsoever!
I have owned this thing for about a year and anyone that heres it freaks out that there is only one in the room. The accuracy is spot on and the tuning ability allows for that. I will buy another one as soon as I find one to add to the balance in the room.(Very large room)
Pros: Powerful sub. Great bass. Cons: After 3 months my woofer is crapping out on me.
It's about 3 months that I have this subwoofer and just recently noticed a "cracking" sound on low bass. It was working great until now. Thank goodness for the warranty. I'll bring it back to the dealer for servicing.
