Quicken Loans

Pros: The representatives do most of the leg work.
Very few documents to present.
Cons: None.

Quicken loans made our re-finance quick, painless and simple.  The helpful staff got us rolling right out of the gate.  Two other companies, including the company that had our original mortgage, acted like they didn't care if we re-financed or not.  I strongly recommend Quicken for any re-finance.

Pros: I liked the follow up to make sure I understand everything.
Cons: The only issue I ran into was being asked for the same documents several times.

As an employee of Quicken Loans I love the benefit of being able to refinance my home through the same place that provides the bread and butter for that very home. I have had some credit struggles in the past and do not have the highest FICO score or loads of money on the bank, so I needed a loan that could consider these factors but not force me into a payment I could not afford. My mortgage banker listened to my concerns about being in another adjustable mortgage and concerns about my payment changing, and what about my value... She was very patient and offered several suggestions and allowed me to choose what option worked best for my situation. Even though I did not have the best credit and tons of reserves I still had multiple product options available to me which I was impressed with.I enjoyed my experience and do recommend Quicken Loans to all my family and friends.

Pros: Speed, ease, and professionalism.
Cons: A little on the pricey side

Recently did a 15 year fixed refi on our house and was very pleased with the whole process. We were informed of all of the steps and the process went very quickly. Would do another refi with Quicen Loans for sure.

Overall, we set out to refinance our house to lower our timeframe from a 30 year to 15 year mortgage and to get a more favorable interest rate.  I used LendingTree.Com to get comparable quotes on a mortgage refinance and Quicken Loans came in with the lowest rate/points option.  Louis Willoughby was very helpful in going through the different options and working with me.  My loan processor was also helpful.  She went through all of the documents with me online and answered any questions that I had until I was comfortable signing them.  The loan process was very easy with the majority of it completed online.  There was one meeting at our house with a notary to sign the documents.  I recommend Quicken Loans as an easy company to work with related to mortgage refinances. 

Pros: Fast & easy, can be done over the phone & online.  Great customer support. 
Cons: I didn't find a down side.

I loved Quicken Loans. I found them online with a simple Google search, simply typing in "mortgage rates".  They had great offers!  If you are even slightly computer literate, this is a fantastic opportunity for doing a no frills, comprehensive and fast mortgage up-date. Almost everything can be done online, and the folks at Quicken are incredibly friendly & helpful with any questions you may have during the process. It's simple, painless and cost effective. This was a breeze for us, and we are saving a lot of money!  We dropped our rate one percentage point and paid off a credit card. And our monthly mortgage payment is still less than it was before our refinance!  I can't say enough about Brian Lewis, our sales guy. He was so on the ball. The APR was time sensitive and he really cared about our situation. He would call us to give us updates and reassurance while processing our home loan. He was definitely a comfort to us.Please check out Quicken Loans if you wish to refinance your home.I completely recommend it.

We just refinanced-- I was very reticient to do so, but Howie did a great job and got me going perfectly.

The process was very smooth-- I am recommeding Quicken loans to everyone that I speak with who is looking for a refinance.

I even have a friend who works for another loan company- but I much prefer Quicken.

Pros: This refinance was so easy and is saving me $100 a month.  :) 
Cons: The cost to refinance the mortgage makes the total amount owed larger. 

The staff were very respectful and friendly.  Though my refinance was relatively small, I feel I was treated just as valuably as someone who may have been refinancing a very pricey piece of property.

Pros: Personalized service from Lindsi Blaha. I was able to sign all beginning contracts online.
Cons: Inaccurate appraisals delayed the closing of the loan. Resulted in frustration, time and resources wasted.

      I chose to have Quicken do my loan because after comparing rates and loan officers responses, this company offered the best value for the money. Ms. Lindsi Blaha was completely professional in all areas. I was impressed when she went the extra steps it took to smooth out the "bumps" in the process.  She made my experience with this company comfortable. While I won't use the same appraisers again, nor will I recommend them to anyone else...I will use Quicken loans for my next refi or home purchase.

We refinanced our home loan with Quicken. We called our current lender at the time Wells Fargo, and were informed someone would get back to us in a week (they never did). Quicken helped us immediately and gave us a great interest rate. They made the entire process SO easy. This is the 5th time we refinanced our house and this was by far the easiest most enjoyable process. The people at Quicken got back to us immediately answering all of our questions. We had our house appraised and closed within the month. They had someone come to our house to close at our convenience (6pm on a Friday).

This was a terrific expierience.All of the Quicken associates were very professional and they made the process quite easy for me.It seemed that I had the whole team working on just my loan.I got regular updates along the way which was very important to me and the entire process was concluded within three weeks.All I had to do was follow instructions.The package I recieved was concise and easy to understand .They did everything for me always with my knowledge and permossion, Thanks QUIKEN,JOHN

I want to compliment my Loan Officer, Jeffrey Trenta, at quicken loans for providing excellent customer service.  Jeffrey really cares about his clients and made the whole process as smooth as possible.  He worked tirelessly to bring my loan to closing.  The quicken team worked seamlessly to insure every step of the process happenned in an efficient manner.  I was pleased from the first call to closing with everyone involved.  Thank you Jeffrey.

Everything done was straightforward.  No hidden charges, surprises, or any thing of the kind.  Great people to work with, and I will look to them in the future.

I had a great refinancing experience with Quicken Loans. All the preliminary paperwork was done online and then the followup was over the phone. They were always accessable and returned my calls promptly. The appraisal was scheduled quickly and the closing only took 15 minutes. All the paperwork was sent to my home before the closing so that I could review everything ahead of time. I woul highly recommend using these guys for a refinance.

Cons: Many people on the loan team, unsure where to get clarification when needed.

My refinance with Quicken Loans was surprisingly seamless and fast, given that this was my third refinancing attempt. The first two attempts with other companies were highly stressful and drawn out, and then ended up not even going through and wasting me a few hundred dollars. Quicken, however, was straight forward and gave me a really good refinancing option that worked out much better for my situation (15yr fixed rate vs. a 30yr). Solid communication with the loan team; User friendly website; they kept their promises of completing the loan process in a set amount of days and let me know what the steps were along the way. They don't tell you upfront that the loan will be transferred to a different compant once its complete.
