My husband and I purchased this game thinking that it would be more fun than the original, boy were we wrong. The game itself is the same as the traditional Monopoly but the allure of sitting on the floor in front of a roaring fireplace with your siblings and counting out your Monopoly money is gone. There is something unnatural about sitting behind a monitor and playing this game, and if you are playing with someone else it is just a hassle. (ie: sharing the mouse, scooting over in your chair, etc.) Don't get me wrong I did like this PC version of an old favorite but it just feels wrong.... The bottom line is that this game would be good for someone who hasn't played the original or perhaps for a child that needs training in both finance/math and computer skills. Frankly, the PC version was only played for about 3 weeks in my house before it began, and continued, to collect dust. Call me old fashioned...
