If you’re a videogame fanatic like me, you would like to play a videogame on your PC every once and a while. Now, if you’re an adult, and you do not play videogames, please hear me out. This must have for any computer owner. Roller Coaster Tycoon offers a realistic view of owning your own theme park.
From the title, you would guess that they are only roller coasters in this game, when in fact it is far from that. You can build any ride that you can imagine, like a Haunted Houses, Ferris Wheel, Water Slide, Merry Go Round, Car Ride or even a Log Flume. There are many more rides and attractions but those are a few of my favorites.
Since this is a full simulation of a real theme park, you will have to deal with all the real problems that come with it. Like, putting in more bathrooms, lowering ticket prices, sometimes to walk paths get filled with garbage and vomit, that they tell you to hire a few more handymen to clean it up. The rides breakdown as well, that’s why you can hire mechanics so they can fix the rides. Feeling bored while waiting on all those line? Then hire a few entertainers in panda costumes.
I must say that I play almost every free minute of my life on this game. It is fun, realistic, and over all, addictive. So how good is Roller Coaster Tycoon? Lets see how it stacks up. Ratings from one to five stars.

Graphics

When you design the roller coasters, lighting effects kick in, shadows of the ride. But the look and feel of the game was cartoony. As far as cartoony goes, it met up to those standards. So it looked childish, but it looked like a good childish.
Sound

Merry Go Round Music throughout the park, kids throwing up, and chatter sounds. These realistic background sounds, sound real and will impress you at first, than that same old music from the same old Merry Go Round. AH! Make it stop; it doesn’t hurt to listen to the radio while playing this game.
Gameplay

Cool, fun, and addictive game play. You decide to turn it off, and then ten minutes later, you’re coming back to it telling yourself, “just one more hour.” To complete each mission, you have to complete each objective that is giving to you. Most of them, are to bring a certain amount of guest into your. That makes it all the more challenging and fun.
Overall

I bought this game last Christmas, I played it like crazy, and I stopped playing in about April. Then I had withdrawal from the game so I felt compelled to play it again, so I have been playing it ever since July. That’s the great replay value this game has kicking in. have fun, be your own park owner, own this game first.
Bottom Line: if your looking for fun, and addicting game play, even if your adult, try this game out.
