Don't waste the money...

Workers at retail stores selling warranties have quotas to meet- Do Not take their "I knew a customer who..." stories as true. The extended warranty on large or small appliances isn't worth it. If you have checked a few wonderful sources( this site or Consumer Reports for example) regarding your potential purchase you can feel very confident you have chosen a reliable item. Why waste the money on insurance which expires before normal wear and tear would ever even happen? Remember if stuck with a "bum" piece of merchandise a confident, persistant voice to the manufacturer many times will help you without your pocket being touched! Forgo the warranty- save the money and instead choose wisely.
