Buying a Refrigerator
Apr 04 '00
I just purchased a home a few weeks ago and it did not come with a refrigerator. My husband and I wanted a refrigerator that has side by side doors and the water and ice on the outside. However, we did not want to spend a fortune on a new refrigerator. Some of our friends told us about Sears having a section in the store that has damaged appliances but great prices. I though there was no way they would have the refrigerator I wanted for under $1,000. I went and looked any way and could not believe the things they had and the prices were great. I did find what I was looking for and it had a little dent on the side that you could hardly see. I bought a Kenmore refrigerator, white in color, the water and ice on the door for $675.00. The original selling price was $1,400. What a great deal it was. If you are shopping for a refrigerator go to Sears and go to the damaged section. You will be amazed what you find there. People take things back if they have a tiny scratch on it. Who cares about a little dent or scratch if you can buy it for hundreds of dollars less. Go there and you will see what I am talking about. They even come with a warranty.
