AWFUL customer "service"

Pros: Cheap, but you can do much better for the same or lower price. Cons: AWFUL customer/technical service - delays, lies, and incompetence. Not even a phone number.
I signed up for Site5's web hosting primarily because of their claims of stellar customer service and 15 minute average turnaround time on technical support tickets. What misleading advertising! In four short days, Site5 hijacked all of my company's emails, refused to speak with me by phone (though they several times promised to call they did not), took as much as 24 hours to respond to technical support inquiries, and when they did respond did so without reading any previous threads. After describing my company's dire situation without email and waiting hours and hours for a response, the only response we received was "Please let us know if there is a problem we can help with." After asking for my phone number so they could supposedly call me, which I provided promptly, I received a response hours later saying "I don't know why you gave us your phone number - we can't call you - we don't offer phone support." My strong advice: look elsewhere for your web hosting needs.
