With my first baby, I had an Evenflo happy camper play yard type thing with a bassinet. "Rickety" is the best word I can use to describe it. So when I had my 2nd baby I wanted something a little more sturdy. We keep the fold away crib in our room and our baby sleeps in it at night. It's wonderful, just a tiny crib. It's sturdy and has 2 different mattress positions so it can be used like a bassinet in the early months. One of the side rails also rolls down so it can be used as a changing table. It also makes it easier for getting the baby in and out. I much prefer this to any play yard I've seen or had. It also folds away easily and pretty flat so it's easy to store. It was also a piece of cake to put together!
