Before I had children I always said I'd never get a stroller like this because they looked so funny to me. My father bought this as a gift for me, proving Father Knows Best!
This stroller/car seat combo works so conveniently together. It makes shopping and errand running a cinch with your baby. The stroller is very easy to set up and break down. I was never standing in a parking lot feeling embarrassed because I couldn't get my stroller set up or put away!
The storage bin underneath is one of the roomiest I've seen. On one occasion we had three purses, my monstrosity of a diaper bag, and two shopping bags stuffed into it!
The main part of the stroller is very large and roomy with sitting up and reclining positions. It is big enough to last well into the toddler years. This is really the only stroller you will have to buy.
The car seat easily attaches and detaches from the stroller as well as the base you install in your car. The car seat is that it appears to be larger than many others -- which on the one hand means you can safely use it longer, but on the other hand, makes it harder to set down in some places (like on the seat next to you at a restaurant).
The wheels on the stroller work very smoothly over many different surfaces.
I'm not sure how the stroller compares in weight to other full-size strollers, but I do know I can carry it folded up in one hand, with a diaper bag on that same shoulder. And, I am no weight lifter! If you're concerned about your child's ultimate comfort, this stroller can be taken practically everywhere.
It also comes with a canopy, with a velcro flap revealing a plastic see-through panel over the main stroller, and a canopy for the car seat.
The car seat can also be used with the Evenflo Phases High Chair.
