I am a real estate agent and have had First American Home Warranty for 10 yrs on my home. I recently had an issue with my garage door opener. I notified FAHW and they sent a repairman to my home. He was amazed to see that the last repairman who came out to fix my garage door-about 8 months prior had installed it incorrectly and in his opinion it was a safety hazard. We have been dealing with FAHW for over 2 weeks now and it has been a nightmare. My renewal is up in July and I will not be renewing nor will I ever recommend them to my clients. I would love any info on a class action lawsuit against FAHW.
