Can anyone comment on the Kestrel EMS Pro Carbon fork (700c/1"st)? I got one at a tremendous discount but have been hearing rumors I weight too much or present too much lateral load because of said weight, such that I may break it. Obviously that is not ideal. I have taken one spill because of a bad fork, I would prefer not to repeat the experience. Ima 6'4"/250#.

Contact the makers of the forks. Tell them about yourself, your weight, how you would use the bike.
Ask them if they would recommend the product for your use.
