Window shop online but buy in person.

Dec 21 '99

I don't know about you but i'm a touchy feely kind of person. But at the same time I don't like pushy salesmen trying to get me to buy something too expensive or something not suited to my level of riding. So I decided to look at the new snowboards and bindings, clothing, goggles etc...online. Maybe even buy online. But I ran into a major problem. I liked some of what I saw. But how do I know its right for me? Is that what it really looks like? Is that how big it is? So I found some boards and bindings and goggles from four or five different manufactures and headed off to my local board shops to actually handle these items. Having done my research ahead of time I was able to keep the push salesmen at bay and really take my time to decide what I wanted. So armed with my info and a few careful questions I walked out a week later with a brand new ARBOR "MICKEY MUNOZ" snowboard with SIMS "posi-link aluminum" bindings and oakley gogles. Very happy with my purchase. thanks to epinions dot com.
