Overall I had a good experience with Dreamtime Baby, however, the items that I had ordered were not labeled that they were on backorder so I did not know this when I placed my order...it took a little over 3 weeks to get my items.

Most online purchases only take 7-10 days to receive. I have never had to wait so long for an online purchase. I have been waiting 4 weeks and part of my order is on backorder. I understand that it fault should not be placed with Dreamtime baby, but I do not think that an additional shipping charge should be added if the consumer wants to have their partial order that is in stock shipped to them while waiting for the rest of their order to be received.

The ordering process on line was fine and effecient. The problem was the product. When I received the crib it was broken and not able to be assembled. Now I am in the process of waiting to receive another one. So in the mean time my 4 month old does not have a crib to sleep in. Since this was not my fault my order should have been of first priority and not have to wait a second time to receive another crib.

I was quite pleased with my shopping experience. It was easy to order and I was able to watch where it was in the shipping process which made me feel good since I needed it to arrive on time for me to take it to my son and daughter in law's baby shower. I was surprized I was charged shipping since the site made a point to state that orders over a certain amount had free shipping. Never the less I was quite happy with my purchase since I couldn't find the right colors for the bedding anywhere else!
