The reviews of this merchant on the epinions site are not believable. The ID for each of 40 surveys is "Grand wine cellar shopper". For that ID it seems 39 surveys (all of them I think) have been completed with perhaps 2 different purchases in many ...

good selection terrible service

I wanted to love them. They were one of the few mail order booze shops with a good single malt selection.
But I've been waiting 3 weeks with no delivery, no word, and now my tracking number won't match anything. Their web site is buggy. Sigh.

Grand Wine Cellar had in stock a special bottle of spirits that I was having a hard time finding. I placed the order two days before my brother's birthday and the gift arrived right on schedule.

Quick and easy on line ordering; they sent me an email notification when gift was delivered. I believe I was charged twice for gift wrapping but for the promptness of the order and delivery, I choose not to complain.

I ordered two different wines, neither of which did they actually have in stock. I had to call them a week after the order was placed to get this information and was lied to stating they were "just about to call me" and had sent me an email. Neither statement was true (no email received or in spam filters). Was offered different wines that were then substituted again without my permission and one was totally dropped from the order. The only thing they got right was the Vodka.

My husband ordered a bottle of Krug(Grand Cuvee) for our anniversary.It arrived on time but was a real disappointment.It was flat and had a bad taste.We drink champagne alot and usually stay with Moet and Chandon for occasions but on our 37th anniversary Jim wanted to buy me something special and we also got a coupon for a free bottle with our next order which I used for a bottle of Moet and chandon(Imperial).The wine arrivered today with no free bottle.I have e mailed Grand Wine Cellar and will see if they reply.Please pass this on to them if you can.Thanks,Mrs. Carrol Kinney

Very professional. Since my purchase reguired an over 21 signature, I had it sent differently from my billing adress, which threw up red flags. They called me and understood why I had to have it sent to a different address. My order was delivered on time. It was just as they said it would be on line.
