I bought a warranty on a used car CD Changer that I bought through eBay.  I was required to buy the warranty within a month of buying the item on eBay.  The warranty went into effect a month after I boughtit.  After using the CD Changer for several months, it stopped working and wouldn't even eject the cartridge or anything.  I sent in a claim to SquareTrade over the Internet and they reviewed my claim and sent me a response by email within 24 hours.  They determined that they would just pay me the full purchase price upon inspection of the item.  I mailed the CD Changer to them and within 5 days SquareTrade had emailed me and refunded the full purchase price of the CD Changer.  I am completely satisfied with my experience with SquareTrade and look forward to working with them in the future.  The customer service was outstanding and response times were faster than I thought was possible.

Purchased new Dacor built-in Coffee System and Square Trade warranty Two months after 1 yr factory warranty expired we are now dealing with trying to get the item repaired using our extended warranty. 

I'll give them an E for effort but a D- on getting it repaired.  Its been a month and two service calls latter and I'm still with out the use of my appliance and no idea if and when it will be fixed.  The customer service reps don't seem to feel any sense of urgency on getting the item repaired, guess they don't drink coffee..... 

Do your self a favor and save yourself from the headaches and buy the extended FACTORY warranty for any item that is serviced in your home.  It may cost more but you won't have to deal with a third party.

Update: 11/24/08

Refunded purchase price of item.  Still recommend buying mfgr extended warranty on any large built-in appliance.  Doing so will ensure the appliance is repaired.  I now have an empty kitchen cabinet with no appliance, and am out the cost of the original SquareTrade Warranty.  I will now have to repurchase another extended warranty on what ever I purchase to replace it with.

Dealing with SquareTrade/Banker's Warranty Group is easily the absolute worst experience I've been through regarding a warranty. It was for an external hard drive. It broke, and after I called, they said someone would return my call in 24-48 hours. No call. I called back a week later, and then they said AGAIN someone would call back in 24-48 hours. No call. The 3rd time I finally got instructions to send the hard drive in and I'd receive a call in 2-3 weeks. No call. I called and they said somebody would call me back within 24-48 hours. You get the picture. That happened another two times. Here's what's funny: my biggest problem is that they agreed to send me a check for a $70 check if I VOID the warranty contract with them. 6 weeks later... no check. I personally requested to talk to a manager and she was very helpful and now the check is being "expedited". Anyway, this is possibly a huge scam. And months after I thought this was taken care of, I still have no warranty compensation.

SquareTrade Warranty was a life saver.  I can't tell you how many people I have recommended it to this week.

Withing the next two days after that, I received status that my purchase price would be reimbursed so that I may purchase another phone. I received my money instantly. Square Trade kept me informed on every step throughout the process. I was extremely impressed with their superior, hassle-free service. I would definitely recommend Square Trade to any and every consumer. I plan to purchase additional warranties for other items I have recently purchased, both on eBay and other stores. I found SquareTrade after a bad experience with the warranty program at an online retailer.  Their purchase process was clear and straightforward, the claim process was quick and efficient, the value was better than anywhere else I found, and they were easy to work with.  I will recommend SquareTrade to all of my friends and relatives as the best place to buy a warranty.

I was surprised and pleased at the swiftness and communication of Square Trade. Believe me, I have had many experiences with "extended warranties' which were NEVER pleasant. Alot of BS and excuses of why they may not honor their warranties! BUT with Square Trade the process was very professional and went far, far beyond my expectations. The process took 3 days and they refunded my purchase price from Ebay with NO hassles! Very impressed with the price and quality of service.

I normally don't purchase extended warranties on electronics, but since I was buying a used PC (Dell C-600 Notebook), I thought I might give it a try.  At $16.99, the price was very reasonable, so I really couldn't go wrong. 

Recently I experienced a power cord connector problem, which I had fixed, and Square Trade covered the entire cost of the Repairs (up to the cost of the Actual Item Purchased).

I highly recommend them to anyone considering a future electronics purchase!

I am very happy with your service. When i notified of my problem with my phone there was no hesitation on there part. Very fast and great service. I was given a full refund on purchase price so i could replace my phone. I will definately tell my friends of your company.

I was a bit skeptical about these guys but they delivered - insuring a pre owned CD changer for a 1999 jeep, which are notoriously unreliable. Sure enough the changer broke down (again) but hey they paid up allright.

I brought a used Side Kick ll. It was in good condition. But eight months after I brought it. It would no longer received my Sim card. It would not receive any Sim card. I contacted Square Trade. They were very professional and quick to respond. I told them the problem. They decided it would be better to give me a refund. They gave me a return mail label. I mailed the Side Kick back to them. A week later they returned my money by pal pay. Their integrity and professionalism is exceptional. Square Trade is simply the best at what they do.

I purchased warranties from SquareTrade for two stereo components I purchased on eBay &, as luck would have it, both components failed during the warranty period. SquareTrade promptly & courteously refunded the original purchase price of both items. I highly recommend SquareTrade to anyone buying electronics off eBay. It is money well spent just for the peace of mind knowing your investment is protected.

My experience with Square Trade was a good one. I had to use their services when my phone crashed a couple of weeks ago and I had to send my phone in to be checked out. Although my phone was a loss, they were true to their word and fully refunded my money. The customer service was the best with each person really concerned about my problems and the process of sending in my phone. I'll be going to them with my next phone!
