It is not Swanson's fault that the order has not yet arrived, it is the U.S. Postal Service's fault. According to the postal service tracking number it arrived at our location two days ago. However, each time we have gone into the post office to pick it up they have been unable to locate it. They agree with us that it is at our postal location, but they cannot yet find it. We will be going back again Monday to look for it again. When items get shipped to Alaska for some reason they charge much more for shipping as well as reduce the quality of the service. I would recommend to Swanson to not use the regular U.S. Postal Service but another shipping choice with the USPS or to use an entirely different carrier when shipping to Alaska as there seems to be problems with the USPS. The problem with using another carrier is if Fed Ex or UPS drops off the shipment at the house when it is below freezing eight months out of the year it would damage the product. Therefore, it is better to stick with a carrier that would not drop products off at the house and then leave.
