Swanson Vitamins

Awesome selection and prices. Shipping is VERY fast. I have been ordering a variety of products from Swanson for some time now and am very happy with their products. Swanson has been in the supplement business for quite a while. I remember Swanson vitamins way back in the 70's.

God Help you if you have a problem with your order...

I placed a relatively large order on their web site, and ordered several items under a "buy 1 get 1 free" section.

When my order arrived, there was only one item instead of two for the items from that section. I spent over an hour on chat with three different sales people, all telling me basically, "sorry, not interested." One even promised to ship the items out to me and then reneged on the deal.

Reporting them to the BBB and State Attorney General's office. Good products, lousy service.

These guys are impeccable. They have a great selection and their prices are always at the lowest available. They usually are prompt in shipping, though DHL can be kind of unpredictable in their timeliness. Their shipping prices are the same no matter how much you order. Customer service is usually great. The Swanson brands are high quality at usually better prices than the other brands. Can't beat them for overall quality, price and service.

Swanson used to be ideal in most regards and my orders would usually arrive within 4 to 5 days. Then, concerned about shipping costs they added a surcharge for shipments to Puerto Rico, Alaska, etc., and changed shippers from the postal service to a company called ParcelPool. From that moment onward my experience with Swanson has been one of chronic frustration. No longer are my orders received in 4 or 5 days. I am lucky if I get them in 15 days, if not longer. This is unacceptable and has prompted me to switch the bulk of my supplement orders to iHerb, a company that always delivers within 3 to 5 days. Swanson used to be my number 1 supplement supplier but from now on they will be the last resort. Another example of some genius manager coming up with cost-cutting measures without considering the impact on their clients.

The best vitamin company on the internet. Fast, reliable, helpful when you call. I used to use several other companies, but Swansons is now my number one vitamin/supplement company.

Finding the product was easy. Ordering was a piece of
cake and the website was not slow. All in all a good
experience. Great price on Schiff product also.

High quality products, excellent information, easy ordering by catalog or internet, customer service is great. Only problem I have had with them is on returns. I recently had to return a few items, gel tabs melted in the bottle in transit. I was very disappointed to find out there is a 3 week wait time before you eventually get your product back.

I recently ordered one item because I was in a hurry and couldn't order my full order. The web site is easy to use and they usually fill your order quick. I love the website. Then there is the delivery after I got an e-mail saying it was sent out the same day, which it wasn't. Three days later it went out and took over 2 weeks to receive it three states away. I contacted the chat room people a couple times and all they say is "keep waiting." They use that new system from UPS to USPS. I could have drove over there and picked it up faster!!!! I am on day 13 waiting for my order! When will it get here? I will for sure be going to a local store now for my stuff. I read on here I am not alone with this problem. Still waiting...

I've used this one for years and they don't disappoint. Always quick deliveries too! The website is easy to use and is informative. Some other sites seem to often have incomplete info on much of their supply.

I have placed many orders with Swanson Vitamins for various vitamins, minerals, amino acids and others. Most of the time the items are in stock. If something is back ordered, they will ship the rest of the order out immediately and the balance as soon as they can.

Delivery usually takes about 3-4 days from order date to deliver to California.

I find their Swanson products very good plus they carry other name brands like Now Foods, Source Naturals, Natural Factors, etc. at prices lower than almost any other online merchant.

Swanson has a most liberal return policy. If you have ordered, look at the back of the invoice for complete return information. They make it so easy and give you a year to return a product. Most liberal, huh?

I have been using Swanson's for two years now and am very satisfied with the quality of the products, the variety, service and especially the prices!

I am an overseas customer and just got interested in nutrients. Most of the specific nutrients I was in search for were not available in the country where I live. Searched a lot of sites and took some time to see available options and I can honestly tell that the price and the quality is incomparable. I had three seperate shipments in 2 weeks for 3 batches of products. The shipment is really fast - and the correspondence with the customer representatives is very easy - although I did not have any problems with the company in the order stage or anytime, I had some questions and all were answered in a timely manner. Will keep on purchasing from them. You can find any product you are looking for - they have wide array of products and there is nearly no need to go elsewhere to shop for.

1st       I was overcharged on my order
2nd      They did not Apply 1st Time customer $5 Off code I added
3rd       I contacted CHAT Customer Care to only be Disconnected on because they could not answer my questions

4th       I emailed customer support NO RETURN REPLIES?
5th       Contacted the BBB and filled complaint
6th       Contacted the FTC filled complaint

7th       Tell everybody I know to stay far from SWANSON BRAND ANYTHING!

8th       Create a complaint website since i am a website maker.

Last Forget about these JOKESTERS!!!

I have been ordering from Swanson for a short time on the recommendation of a neighbor who had the same serious health problem I had. She had healed herself with CoQ10, as it had been recommended by her doctor along with calcium and magnesium. Her doctor later actually took her off her regular meds. I started by taking 200 mg of CO Q 10 each day (to heal) and now take 100 mg and the calcium and magnesium. My health has improved so much that I can hardly believe it!!! It has made SUCH A GREAT DIFFERENCE!!! HOORAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also, I had been ordering from another company by catalog. Swanson prices are so much better. I appreciate that as I am a senior and I live on a low fixed income.
